The latest national prostate cancer audit, produced by the National Cancer Audit Collaborating Centre (http://www.natcan.org.uk/), has just been published. Every year this ‘State of the Nation’ report looking at the latest available data on Prostate Cancer is published and is one of the most reliable sources of data currently available.

This reveals that 60,827 men were diagnosed with prostate cancer in England, a 7% increase on 2024. On the positive side, survival rates for men diagnosed with advanced metastatic prostate have increased from 47.1% in 2015 to 55.8% in 2022 – meaning that an extra 1 in 10 men are alive at three years following a diagnosis of metastatic prostate cancer.
