PCS was delighted to be invited to deliver prostate cancer awareness training to Arriva in Liverpool this week. This opportunity was the direct result of the recent testing day which we ran at Halton Hornets. Ian, Phil and Martin made the trip across the M62 to spend a very positive and productive morning with Arriva’s Health and Champions. We had some great feedback from the Arriva team and have given them the tools and knowledge to help spread awareness of the importance of early PSA testing and understanding of the risk factors for prostate cancer.

With Arriva, we are planning to hold a testing event this summer and to raise funds for our ongoing testing programme. We are indebted to Neil Atherton from Arriva, who has been instrumental in driving these initiatives – his enthusiasm is infectious and he is a great advocate for our cause.
