On 30th July, Prostate Cancer Support (PCS) held the inaugural meeting of the Widnes Vikings
Prostate Cancer Support Group. This was a major success with twenty-four people attending together with four PCS volunteers and guest speaker Eddie Hemmings, the now retired Sky TV front man for rugby league, who is an ambassador for PCS.

It was overwhelmingly decided to arrange future meetings at the Widnes Vikings stadium, details of which will be sent out within the next few weeks. Our thanks go to Widnes Vikings, and especially to Sean Mellor, for the usage of the stadium facilities.
