On Saturday 1st August the Mayor and Mayoress of Burnley visited the ‘pop up prostate cancer shop’ in the main shopping precinct in Burnley. The Mayor’s chosen charity is prostate cancer and fundraising is taking place to pay for two testing events in Burnley.
The shop was staffed by members of the members of The Mayoress’s committee and the NE Lancashire Prostate Cancer Support Group who are all doing a fantastic job of raising awareness in the region.
